My (free) Slate Subscription expires in 15 days

Since I started the full 6 month (free) demo I've finally purchased all the remaining Slate Modules.

I'm wondering if Slate is going to offer a better deal on Relab's LX-480 Complete (beyond the $299 price at PluginDiscounts).

I'd slam down $199 (or less) in a heartbeat on this. Today $299 is just beyond my limit for ANY reverb (considering how many I have).

I don't think the Slate sub will ever come close to the deal the Bakers offer price wise  the trend to subs , in a word , for the 6pack joe , suxor, for the power/studio user is good, for "most: of us, not so good for the most EXCEPT CW

Custom EQ and Bobmer which brought me up to date with all Slate plugins.

I see he has Pre-amps coming. Not too interested in those. Why would I want to to put pre-amps on my tracks that were recorded with the hardware pre-amps I selected based on my needs?

I'm lacking the Bomber and I don't even like the LX-480 Reverb.  So I'll be letting my subscription lapse.  Will probably pickup the Bomber next sale.

Interesting on the LX-480 reverb... I have purchased many reverbs (NI RC24 & RC48, UAD 140 & BX-20, Valhalla VVV & Plate) and I keep using the LX-480 as it just sounds awesome for what I do (mainly as a drum verb for rock/indie stuff).  I remember not liking it so much when I first tried it, but now I use it for my main verb and then the Valhalla Plate for guitars.

* UAD-2, Slate Mix & Master Suite, MJUC, Disto, RC24, Valhalla, etc.
* MOTU 828MKII Black Lion Mod
* SPlat 64bit
* Benchmark DAC-1
* Mackie HR824

I look at it and it's sliders and such seem foreign to me. And I listen to it and move the sliders all around and load different presets and hear nothing that engages me more than any of my umpteen other verbs...in fact even less...and so delete it from the track or buss and use something I both like better and find easier to tweak. YMMV.

It's probably a good reverb...but I can't take to it.
