How would you create a tape stop effect using Sonar stock plugs?

I was trying to figure this out the other night and came up empty.  There must be several ways??  Could be a cool effect on a song someday.

Thanks,
Ken

Various techniques including tape stop (msg #21) discussed here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3020405
In the past I used plug-in mentioned in msg #2. IIRC, the readme included with the plug-in was pretty helpful setting it up.

Spot on Steve - I tried to wing it for a while and nearly ditched until I found the Read Me - then it all made sense.

I've only used it in one project so far but fits perfectly for what I wanted
