Update for everyone. 1. Blood tests were normal. Blood sugar was a little high but I'm Type II diabetic (no meds this far) so that is not the problem. 2. Prostate is not enlarged, i.e. it's normal. 3. CT scan says everything is OK but there maybe "something" in the bladder. 4. First consult with the urologist tomorrow who has all the above test results. Keeping a positive attitude.

I had a serious health issue a few years ago (skin cancer) and I honestly expected to be a lot more freaked out than I actually was. It's like "oh well, let's do this thing." It's amazing how well the mind takes things in its stride. Hopefully you will get the all clear or it's something relatively trivial, but even if it's not you'll just do what needs to be done

Ok First .. Imma call you later and I am still praying that's it's nothing. back in 2013 went in for my yearly physical and because I am Hypothyroid they always do thoroughly blood test and urine test so I am on the correct dosage of medicine anyway - They found microscopic blood in my urine and my doctor who is overly thorough - sent me for bladder ultra sound - They found a spot on a kidney - very small speck - and then sent me for CT scan - after that they decide it was a small pimple 1/4 of a center meter - no biggie - non cancer - all good The next year - SAME A Thing - we found microscpoic blood in your urine - I said really .. we're going to do all these test again - Doc says nah - I am sending you to a urologist Hes going to put a tube up your pee pee - with a camera at the end of it and look at the inside of your bladder I was like ... whaaaaaat? So I make the appointment and get to the guys office and plead with him -- really -- we have to do this? He says yeah - Just to make sure you know - lets do it now--- it only takes 5 minutes Ok - so long story short he sticks a long metal tube up my ... Swartz and it made me say un-natural things - similar to Ralphie beating up that Kid in A Christmas Story the camera went in my bladder and also opened up a clamp to pinch a sample of my bladder tissue and yes - the whole thing took maybe ten minutes tops Everything came back OK!! So the lesson of this story Bapu -- is Everything is going to be OK Now last year - they also found microscopic blood in my urine - decided not to do anything - everything is ok Now if I can just get him to stop sticking his finger up my dupa once a year as well...... It would be even better Whatever the case Ed your in my thoughts and prayers and I know this is all a hassle and it makes one worry - I know - and it made me worry - but everything is going to be good Love ya Buddy Your pal Paul

Maybe you just need to pee? I hope so. You will be in my prayers, like it or not. Hey. What is your A1C? Mine has been 6.3 the last two times I was checked. It didn't change since from Oct to Jan. I was sure with the holidays and my father in law dying at Thanksgiving that it would be HIGH. I was in the land of casseroles, pies, and pizza for about 10 days. Ed... You be ok. OK? I had high blood pressure last year. It's been low my entire life to the point of doctors saying "you're basically fine but you might want to take steps to raise it a little." I used to get the odd dizzy spell standing up (which, as an ex-stoner, was actually kinda fun). Last year I had a problem employee who I couldn't get rid of who caused me severe prolonged stress for months. One day I happened upon a free blood pressure testing machine at Whole Foods and gave it a whirl, to my horror "WARNING - PREHYPERTENSION" flashed up on the screen. I was mortified. Not hypertension of course, but prehypertension. I don't drink, don't smoke, work out regularly and don't eat any crap whatsoever, so it had to be the stress of the arsehole employee causing it.
I did manage to fire him eventually and my blood pressure came back down to normal. But it really served as a wake up call, I had no idea how much outside stress could affect your health.

Being married apparently helped my blood pressure, as it turned out. Now that nutritional planning is solely my own responsibility, my blood pressure is up, my weight is up, and my blood sugar is up. The only thing showing a downward trend is my general optimism. Being 64 isn't all the Beatles promised it would be.

Ewww....I had one of those about 5 years ago. Not fun...of course, I had constricted areas in my pee tube, so maybe that had something to do with it. Make sure your Dr uses the flexible scope, as I was told the solid one is especially brutal. Not that the flexible one was pleasant.

Hey, Bapu. Hope you feel better soon. My doctor usually treats me by beating me with goat parts, so I don't have any encouraging anecdotes to share. You might want to leave the bike in the garage until you get a seat, though.
