Mirillis Action screen capture tutorial using Sonar Platinum and VoiceMeeter.

New video on how to capture Cakewalk Sonar Platinum audio into Mirillis Action using VoiceMeeter. I was using OBS but had to many problems with loopback issues. Action works great and is only $29.95!

**After I made the video I realized I had the ASIO buffer size at 256, but for the tutorial I probably could have used 512**

Cakewalk is such a great DAW and now being able to use screen capture with it is awesome!

**For some reason the link keeps getting ripped out of the post.

I think you need 5 posts, or more, to be able to publish links. #NoSpam

Very happy to see this post! I just picked up VB-Cable and VoiceMeeter Banana yesterday (and yes, I donated an appropriate amount for both, and got the VB-CableA and VB-CableB extras.

I was playing around a bit with it yesterday and managed to crash VoiceMeeter. This morning, I followed their advice and bumped up my buffer from 64 ("may work, but not recommended") to 128 (their recommended minimum). I was then going to do some more testing, but will DEFINITELY watch your video first! Thanks!

I tried Bandicam, Fraps, Icecream (which isn’t to bad), Camtasia (I really like that one) and OBS (which I still messing with). But Mirillis Action just worked from the start so it is now my go to screen recorder.

Since I’m using a AMD Processor (FX4100) having Platinum, Action, Banana and Webcam spikes my CPU to 90%. A friend of mine tried it on his Intel i7 and his CPU was hovering around 50 to 60%. Looks like a Intel Processor is the way to go when doing Screen Capture.

    Hope my video tutorial helps.
