Melodyne 4 update not working with Sonar X3

I updated Melodyne to version 4 and now if I try to open an existing project with Melodyne Sonar fails to open. If I try to use Melodyne in a new project it "almost works" where I see a blip of the Melodyne screen but then it simply goes away. I've had no problems with the original version of Melodyne and the stand alone version of Melodyne 4 seems to work fine.
 
I am far from tech savvy, but can anyone offer suggestions on what might be going wrong between Melodyne and Sonar X3?

    SOLVED!
     
    I emailed Celemony around the same time I started this post. Today they got back to me that they were able to reproduce the problem in older versions of X3. Initially I did update my X3 through the help tab, but it only brought me from 3Xa to 3Xb (I didn't realize there were newer)... at Celemony's suggestion I made sure to get my X3 up to the current version of 3Xe and the problem is resolved.
     
    for the completely tech non-savvy like me the process is this: open Sonar X3 and go to the help tab, "check for program updates...", and repeat this process until you are up to 3Xe...it doesn't take long at all.
     
    Hope this helps someone else suffering the same problem ;)

    Thanks for the feedback. It is a good test for those running X3 to see if they are running the latest version.

    I cannot seem to find where it tells me what version I have.
    It doesn't say in 'help-about'.
    It says 'Build X3 196'  but I do not see the X3a, X3e etc.
    When I click on 'check for program updates' it doesn't do anything. 
    Appreciate any assistance.
    Maybe I am not seeing or maybe I have the latest??
