This is kinda freakin' me out

I am still waiting on new hardware, but I the meantime...  I started SPLAT, waited for scan to complete. It's idling before opening a project. 512 ms latency on RME. Yikes. WTH

EDIT - when I hover my mouse, disk usage says 0% and system memory is 2.5 GB with nothing loaded!

    Are you running Sonar x64 on Win x64?

    Yes Win10x64. This system is a clean install 3 weeks ago.

    Did you have Kinston installed before this ?  Did it run ok ?  Several people have experience poor performance with Lexington.

    Ooooh, I hadn't considered that, Paul... I may hafta try rolling back. All the updates seemed too be aimed at optimization, so naturally I jumped right in....

    If this helps my systems show 2.1 Gig of memory usage with just SONAR running?

    Without SONAR and just the system 1.9 gig of ram.

    As for the latency have you set that or did SONAR?

    I would be surprised if any 64bit X series or newer SONAR reported anything significantly different.
