SW Gig tonight...
Off to see the incredible Steven Wilson this evening at the Brighton Dome. Been looking forward to this since I booked the tickets last August! Any other bakery product aficionados heading that way?

Lucky you! I missed my chance for tickets to see him at Bristol. I was unsure if I would be able to make it this week, and by the time I knew it was sold out. I am now looking forward to Karnataka at the end of April and i am hoping I can get to see Focus in March, both at Tavistock Warf.

The man just keeps getting better, and the band work very well together. Amazing evening, with Ninet Tayeb (who sings on the recent albums) as a special guest. Also plenty of PT songs in the second half plus a superb version of Space Oddity as a Bowie Tribute. Great lighting and projections as you'd expect. If you get a chance don't miss it.

We're getting some interesting folks around here ... MAGMA again ... WOWOWOW again!!!!! ... and then in the Seattle area, Steve Hackett and then Al Stewart. I'm inclined to go see Al Stewart since that would be a much more rare sight than Steve ... and while I like his work and Genesis ... I prefer Al's ... much more to my liking.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I saw Al Stewart last year and he was excellent. He was accompanied by his long time collaborator Dave Nachmanoff who is an excellent acoustic guitarist. On the UK tour we also had Tim Renwick making a guest appearance. Tim was the lead guitarist on several of Stewarts 70’s albums and seeing him and Nachmanoff play off each other was a treat.
