Snipping Tool & Moving Channel Strips

Hi!  X3 Studio user here.

I'd like to know if there is a snipping tool (scissor) to edit clips (ie cutting out unwanted sound in various places on the timeline).  I don't see one in the tool menu.  Is there a hidden way to get to one?

Also, Is there a way to move the track/channel strips to different locations on the board so I can group instruments to my liking after they have been created?

Thank you in advance.

    1. Use the split tool 'S' to split a clip into different sections, then you can simply slip-edit the ends to remove unwanted sounds
    2. 2 ways to do this, in Track View, just drag the tracks up or down to their desired location. In Console view, use the alt key to drag a track/buss around.

1.click on the track clip you wish to edit to place the playback cursor where you would the cut to happen, then press "s" on your keyboard.
    2. You can re-order tracks in track view by clicking on the tracks icon (or empty space) and dragging.

Thanks, BJ & Ten.  I will use these next time I'm in the program.
