[Solved] splitting clips...

So I've been forced to work in Protools lately and I just got a project where i get back to Sonar.  I updated to Manchester and noticed something different.

I use to be able to split a midi clip and pull the clip forward and back to reveal the midi data just as audio clips work.  Today I needed to add some measures to a project,  I split a midi clip and slid the back clip back 5 measures.  I then tried to pull the midi clip forward...none of the midi data was revealed...same pulling the forward clip back,  so I had to "cut and paste" the 5 measures.  Did this change?  Midi clips use to work like audio clips.

Can't say I see this happening here. I was doing this last night with no problems.

Are you sure you didn't bounce to clip or apply trimming?

Or maybe the "Non-destructive MIDI Editing" option in Edit -> Preferences -> Customization -> Editing was disabled for some reason?
