MP3 Encoder

Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum.  The trial version of MP3 encoder expired.  Now everytime I try to convert a file to MP3, I keep getting the MP3 encoder error : The MP3 encoder must be unlocked before use.  I have to either upgrade it or purchase it.  I purchased it but when I install it nothing happens.  I keep getting the same error.  Should I purchase the MP3 activation code too?

There are two mp3 products sold by CW. Only one needs to be purchased but it must be the correct one for your Cakewalk product. Contact Cakewalk to swap out the one you bought for the correct one.

Thank you.  Yes, I noticed that when I went to purchase the encoder.  The have the encoder and the activator.  The message said I need to purchase or upgrade the encoder.  So I purchased the encoder.  Maybe it needed to be activated permanently and I should have bought the activator.  If I have to buy it, I will.  For 10 bucks ... well.  I did inform Cakewalk.

You do not need to spend any more for the mp3 license. It is a one-time fee to license mp3 for ALL Cakewalk products. You just selected the wrong product. Cakewalk will add the correct product to your account if you ask them.
