Snow Day.....Advice Solicited....Jesse Q. Screed

Hello, I am soliciting comments on this new piece.  It is called "Snow Day".

I would like comments on the mix, the eq, and whatever else sounds wack a doodle.

I can right now say I don't like the percussive attack on the $50 1971 Hohner Guitar, so if you can tell me how to get rid of that clicky schtick it is good.

I will put some vox to it some day, and...

Thanks in advance

Love the drums - big, punchy and Bonham approved.

I would pan the guitar away from center (opposite the strings?) since it seems to be in a supporting role.  Honestly, the attack really didn't bother me.    I did have a problem hearing the bass clearly throughout though, I guess it needs some compression, select EQing and/or automation.

Stevec, thanks for the insightful critique.

Do you think the drums are to JBonham?

I agree with the bass to, but I sure do like the way my bass girl plays itespecially ay 2:30. Now I just need to find a place for her to sit better in the mix.

I'm not very happy with the recording of the guitar.  I think I can do better.

This is a sketch right now, I want to try and focus on it, instead of shotgun music submissions.  I've never been able to focus in, and that makes it hard to sleep.

    Thanks again

I like the drums. The bass drum may be a little loud. There seems to be a lot of low energy at times where the bass and bass drum are fighting for space.

I love the oddball sound to this. I don't think of snow day though. To me, it has a sinister quality to it. Needs lyrics.

    Overall, I like it!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Wow man,
what a nice track. I like it very much. The drums are very cool. I like the sound of the drums, null artificially and nice played. For the accoustic guitar the same. For my taste. Hmmm..... i don't like the strings.
