Filter only MIDI tracks when Picking Tracks in PRV

Would like the ability to only select MIDI tracks in the Pick Tracks pop up in PRV. When I have 100 plus tracks (audio+midi) and I'm in Piano roll and just want to edit/view select midi tracks, it takes extra time to scroll through all of the audio tracks to find the midi.
Color coding would be nice too. And even an option to filter tracks that only have MIDI data in them.

This is a legacy feature and seems like it's due for an update.
Thanks

(Ex. I don't need to see the Kontakt St. Audio channels in PRV)

I think something like this had been requested before, but voted anyway since it's completely logical.

Voted. This is the reason why I don't use Pick Tracks and instead select tracks in the Track View and hit Alt+3.

Ah, yes. I do the same. But sometimes I find it faster to stay in PRV and not keep switching back and forth from Track view. With a 100+ audio and midi tracks, even selecting and Alt+3 the tracks in Track view is tedious.

Yes, but in the Track view you can use track folders to temporarily hide all audio tracks when selecting MIDI tracks, although I don't even need to do that as I have all MIDI tracks above all audio tracks.

I do a lot of work in Kontakt and the way Kontakt lays out tracks is not conducive to this technique of hiding folders of just audio tracks. I have 5-6 Kontakt instances open with 16 midi and 16 audio tracks per instance (each instance in it's own folder). When Kontakt adds all of the tracks, it puts all of the audio first then adds one MIDI track. Which I duplicate 15 more times and adjust the midi channels accordingly. That's the template layout I like to use.

But I hear what you're saying. Either way, it's just not a good work flow to quickly and intuitively select MIDI tracks to edit.

I would go as far to say that all of the functions under the Process tab should be overhauled. They haven't changed since the Pro Audio days!
