The Killing Song

https://soundcloud.com/aaudiomystiks/the-killing-song

The more you want,
The less you get!
And the more you get-
The more you'll want-
Some people telling you still-
There's as much as you want,
But first you've gotta learn how to
Kill!
The more you have, the more you take-
And the more you take, the more you’ll hate!
Some people telling you still-
There's as much as you want,
But first you've gotta learn to how to KILL!!
You've gotta learn to KILL!!
You've gotta learn to KILL!!
You’ve gottta to have the will, the will to KILL!
You gottta have the thrill, the thrill of the KILL!
You’ve gottta to swallow pills,
Pills, pills, pills!
Kill, kill, kill the Antichrist-
Kill, kill, kill for a paddy of rice-
Kill, kill, kill, Kill
Kill or be killed!
Kill or be killed!
Kill, kill, kill, KILL!
Take this broken man-
He’ll kneel at your feet,
And offer up his hand-
But is he broken no!
He’s just getting started.
Walk with me across the land,
And hold out your heart,
And hold out your hand,
We can hold back the tide-
Reach for the sky!
But first you’ve got to KILL!
DISCLAIMER-I do not endorse the idea of kill or be killed-
It is a piece of social commentary about the state of the world.
Sorry, this is for morons, and there seems' to be a lot of them-
Hence this message,
But I do not...I repeat, I DO NOT, endorse the idea of Kill Or Be Killed.
Love Neb

Despite the horrid lyrics I think you a very good job here. I especially like the verse and the lead guitar. The chorus was too dark for me. Anyway well done. Please don't return the comment favour because I am waiting for my tune to exit from the first page so I can send another tune here.

Hey Antti, will do re:your song.  Just remember it's a journey song...The Killing Song, and the lyrics may be horrible but at the end you get the positive message.  No Way Man...Don't Do It.  Basically it's not worth it-that is kill or be killed.  We live in dark times, and in some way's this age we live in is the digital dark ages, and all I am doing is reporting what I see.

Music can be used for many things, it's sound waves after all, and sound can be used to alter the physical...yea, that makes sense and isn't too whacky??  Today it could be said music is not used in this way at all, it's all just silly love songs, and dance stuff.  But it should be used for conveying a message too, and that is all this song is...a message.  We all need to be a little more peaceful to one another and find another way...this is not the animalistic way, which is what this song is saying...because animals still run humanity, and these animals drag us all back into this way of existence.

    Anyway thanks Antti.

I really hope that you don't return the comment favour on my current tune because I am waiting for my current tune to exit from the first page to the second page so I can send another tune. But IF you have already done your review of my song then it is fine for you to send it because you, among other things, have great skills in reviewing songs.

Through your instrumentation and vocals you certainly have captured the angst of the lyrics.  BTW, I like the lyrics.  I took them as nice satirical social commentary!
We all need a dose of that every once in a while!

Thanks guys-yes satirical social commentary is super important in this impotent world-and if anyone steals my lyrics please note I will hire lawyers and sue your arses.  By putting them up on this forum-they have been copyrighted.

BMT, I really respect what you do.  You're not afraid to break the rules....as far as there is a critical mass on this forum.

The lead guitar reminds me a little of  r fripp.  I  would add some more of that.

I like the tune, and I love your style.

It seems as if you are trying to be nobody but you, and that is great.  Q it baby, Q it.

Gosh, thanks guys.  I can only be me, sometimes this is a burden.

And yes Jesse, Fripp has always been a hero of mine.

I will try and listen to more of your music guys, I'm just so caught up in my own ****.

    Cheers Ben
