Is Eviction the Same As Banned?
I have what appears to be a set up or preliminary to an eviction notice on my door. I don't have the same sense of accomplishment I had with being banned. Well, just when you think things can't get stupidder

I did nothing to be treated like this. I'm being set up and there is nothing I can do. When I tell someone what has been going on they think i'm exaggerating or making it up. I don't know what to say any more.

I don't know what the law is like where you are but here in NYC eviction can be a long, drawn out procedure lasting months if not years. Of course it's hard to give advice not knowing what your circumstances are. But as an example, in my building there was a girl who basically got herself a good housing lawyer and ended up withholding rent for 3 years, citing a litany of complaints against the landlord (many of which I have to say were abject BS). It literally took the landlord that long to get her evicted.

Cool i think? I can't speak of my personal like but so I will tell you this: (because you have a gun); Swamp Bred Wlly Swamp Bred Willy worked for the government. When Willy retired Willy got ,we'll say $2000 in retirement a month for simplification Swamp Bred Willy was married to a swamp witch that in divorce took half of that money. The hag gets that money sent to her each month. It's NOT alimony In the van down by the river his landlord called him to her office to tell him according to her records he gets $2000 therefore, his rent will be adjusted to that amount. Not only that, Since Willy's been there for 5 years he has to pay back money from those dates. Willy's neighbor, Alice the alligator said that they posted on Friday at office closing time, that Willy had failed to do ANY of the requirements of his least and the documents are BACKDATED to show they were placed there earlier to show he has had time to react. That is the paper work that was presented to them already. They were taken ALL the required paper work. They say Swamp Bred Willy didn't do Any of that paper work. Getting the picture?

Alligator Alice went to the manager near the van down by the river. She told them she has seen what's going on. She told the manager what they were doing to Willy was just plain wrong. Her reply was she is being forced by her bosses to present the documentation as she was told or she would lose her job!

Don't give up, don't give in. Keep talking to more people. Talk to local social services. Talk to any politician you can find. You never know when you'll find someone who will know someone or just be able to fix things. I've seen it happen, just don't give up.
It sounds like someone is just being a jerk and they need to stop, either that or corruption where someone want's something you have. IDK, but it don't sound right.

I'm certainly not a lawyer but the problem may be as you stated above that "it's not alimony" therefore not deductible on your tax returns. And is seen as income by your landlord. Talk to your local services.

This is NO misunderstanding. They are aware of what and how they are doing it. Me being an elderly disabled and ILL Vet that apparently has no way to defend the dictation of an apartment complex manager.

They know exactly what they are doing! It was thought that I would put my tail between my legs and do as I was told. There is much more that has not been said and the way things were and are done disgusts me. It's underhanded. Everyone has to realize if they're doing this to me they are doing it to others.
