My TOY shipped today!

The Digicrap Digitech TRIO+ with three switch pedal. If I know Sweetwater, I'll have it by Thursday. I think with the looper this will be a whole 'nuther ballgame. Still a toy for me but anyone should be able to use it for performances by recording loops. IIRC, it will store about 12 songs per card, with 5 parts per song... YOU record the loops for whatever song you want to play. You can use the drums and bass or just the looper. They also tweaked the bass t make it less busy and simple, three modes. If you tried an original and didn't like it, this one may have what you need. Personally, I'm just going to have fun with it. There may be a few songs I may try to do a couple of guitar parts using the looper, and the bass/drums. Something like Lonely People by AMERICA. The two acoustic parts on it should be easy to program into the looper and they sound really good. I haven't had anyone to play them with for many years... California Dreaming too... there's a few songs I may try to make loops for. I'm excited about it. I like guitar gadgets.

    I have it but have not had the time to "play with it" yet. It certainly has all the capabilities I could want. 5 song parts, 12 songs on an included micro SD card, guitar FX (clean and lead) headphone jack, line/mixer out, amp out, it has a user requested feature to make the bass lines less busy, down to just on the root note, new genres, looper with overdub. More.. I'm sure I'm forgetting some features... independent Band and Looper. I got the footswitch, it is TRS and I have a homemade ABY box, just on/off. I also have an older looper that uses the same switch so I'm thinking that if I want to I could use the looper and the TRIO+ and have two loopers. I can't imagine I would need that but I think it would work.
    I can't wait to use it some. I'll have the grand kids tonight, Monday, and Tuesday... then I'll rest for at least a day. Then I'm going to have some FUN! Nana and one of them made cupcakes today. Me and the grands are baking loaves of homemade bread tomorrow. Music is great but it isn't grand like grand daughters! I wear out a lot more quickly than I used to. I'm glad I have home movies so I can show their kids that I wasn't always an old guy siting in a chair who can't hear and smells like pee... which, by the time they have kids it probably what I'll be, laff.
     
    Fun! Yeah... it's what I like! Thanks for the heads up on this Larry, I would have ordered the original (I was set to buy it, I had a gift certificate my wife gave me for my birthday... thanks to you I got this one instead. You are the certainly one of the top most helpful people here... and I thank you!)
