Anyone Else Having Issues with Melodyne Studio and Platinum?
This may not be the suitable forum but I really wanted to get feedback from other Melodyne Studio 4 users.
I'm not having issues with pitch correction but when it comes to global quantizing audio tracks I think it's worse than Editor 3. First, you have to ALWAYS reset Melodyne to "sync to DAW" or whatever the middle options in tempo are. Otherwise, it's not accurate at all. Second, I'm getting some serious distorted pops that I'm worried could blow my monitors or headphones! The meters say +4 or even more! Bad stuff! And third, I really wish they would have paid more attention to the quality of polyphonic processing. For example a very clean acoustic guitar track sounds (to me) even more "smeared" after rendering than in Editor 3! I understand it's a new release but I'm not digging it much at all on the polyphonic side of processing. Anyone else?
