I have to be the contrarian here.  I don't know what those demos were supposed to be but country (at least Nashville country) they aint.  Useful?  Maybe.  But good or well played?  Not on your tin-type.  YMMV.

Right there with ya, ol pal.  The audio samples do not resemble any "country" music that I'm familiar with.  Pop and vintage boogie-woogie are what these sound like to me.  Not that it's a bad thing, but I can't think of a single popular modern country song that might contain these piano parts.  Can anyone else?  If so, I'll eat my words.

Edit:  I see this is supposed to be a "roots" package, but even then it doesn't sound like authentic traditional country to me.  And I'm not exactly dazzled by the virtuosity of the playing, either.

Cheers,
Eddie

Julien,

It's from bestservice.de (pay in euros) if the deal is still there.

It's 69,00 € but if you don't pay VAT it's 57,98 € which today is 65.45$US.

Thanks, I found it at AudioDeluxe but it's $99 there. I'll check Best Service. I have an account there, that's a good deal. On the AD site they don't have the Country Roots included but I bet it is. I like the AOR too.
Thanks Ed.

Julien,

I don't know about the AD offering but the bestservice.de product (search their site for "EZKeys Generic") is for generic serial numbers which you can register with Toontrack for any EZKeys MIDI pac(s) you want.

I had my hopes up for a little Floyd Cramer too. No dice though. I might be able to find Class of '65 if I dug around. My mom and dad had that and it was maybe one of the first albums I put on myself to listen to. First one that wasn't Johnny Horton anyway.

Mr.Cramer was my initial mentor in Nashville.  He was kind enough to record an instrumental version of one of my songs and convinced me to move to Nashville.  He was a great guy and, of course, a legendary session player and originator of one of the most recognizable piano sounds in country music.

My wife LOVES Floyd.

I went to Best Service and got six generic EZKeys MIDI licenses and picked six more EZK MIDI packs, I have 12 now.

Now I think I'm going back to get a generic 6 pack for EZDrummer MIDI Packs to got with the EZKeys packs.
I now have EZKeys:
AOR (This one is good)
Ballads
Blues
Boogie
Classic Soul (a fav)
Country
Country Roots
Funk
Gospel (a fav)
Latin
Movie Scores (I like this one a lot)
Rock and MIDI

SO.... I'm thinking some of the EZDrummer MIDI packs would be nice too.

As far as EZXs I have:

Nashville
Pop/Rock

QUESTION... in your opinion would I be better to buy another EZX or two or six MIDI packs? I have AD2, so I'm thinking the MIDI packs would be a better choice. I don't have any EZDrummer MIDI packs so.. what would you do? The 6 pack generics are $57 bucks.

Thanks.

Don't buy the EZX unless on the half off sale. About $25 at Best Service when on sale. I went to Fleer School of Software Acquisition so I know you cant have too much EZ Keys midi. EZ Drummer midi too I guess. Ask Bapu which ones he wants to get. The answer is NONE> he has them all.
