new extra click bug?

Sometime in the past few revs, an extra click was introduced to rewind to a loop point or to the beginning.
 
Open Event List for a midi track with some events.    Play.   Click on something in the Event list.   Press the Rewind (W) key OR move over to the console view and Click the RTZ (rewind to beginning) button -- either way, the cursor will first jump to the previous NOW point and then requires another click to jump to beginning (or to loop begin if loop is active). 
 
Just one more click you say?  But that doubles the time for something done millions of times in the course of a project.   I suspect this occurred during work on staff view, since other problems in event list happened then.  Just a guess ..
