VS 700 SET RECORD TIMING MASTER

Hi
Can someone tell me what the record timing master should be set to with the full vs700 set please?

    Could someone please let me know which option is selected in the drivers tab please

    I do not have a VS700 but the interfaces I have owned use the first ASIO driver input pair.

    Hi Steve,
    I set my playback timing to the main-out and recording timing to the vs-aux-in(1) as I mostly record my guitars through the aux-in. Don't think it makes any difference though...I believe the option is there if you have more than one soundcard/interface. Their timings might not sync and the option let's you set the 'master'. I would think all inputs of the VS have the same 'timing'.

    Tracking: Sonar Platinum (X3 Producer, X2 studio, X1 expanded, 8.3) (64bit)
    System: Win10 Pro (64bit), Asus  P8Z77 V Le Plus, I7-3770k, 16GB Ram, SSD System drive, Raid1 Recording & Backup drive, VS-700 Set, TC Konnekt 48
