Click behavior to change clip/envelope view

I have never really understood in what way I need to click or what keyboard key I need to hold to switch between clip gain and normal clip view in the main arrangement window. Sometimes I will accidentally switch OUT of clip gain view (maybe shift clicking?) but I can never switch back to it except by selecting it in the track header. Is there any way? Or any place I can read about my options here?

Hi. I do not use any keystrokes for this, but use it like this. Select which view you want.

    All the best.

Yeah that's what I'm doing too, it's just slow and tedious and I can never get it to work for a bunch of tracks in one go. I've previously gotten the comment that I can do this via some special clicking on the clip but I've never gotten that to work.

You could also use automation lanes

Is that what you had in mind?

Thanks for your suggestions, but no that's not what I mean. First of all you can't do clip gain with automation lanes. And secondly, I'm looking for a method of clicking on the clip to change between the "clips" and "clip gain" and possibly "audio transients" that was suggested to me before.

Ok. That was what I had from the top of my head. I hope others chime in to get you sorted.

Hi, as explained in this help page, it's Shift+right-click.
    https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Automation.11.html

Just checked it (in Manchester) and it's working as expected.
