My new guilty pleasure.

http://www.musicnotes.com/

I like to find sheet music of older songs.  What nice is even if you don't bother printing the music they have files to open up. If you have an iPad their app opens up all of your purchases.  If you have a printer malfunction it's not SOL. It asks if it printed OK.
I use to buy tab at Hal Leonoard's site called Guitar Instructor but I prefer to pay more a Musicnotes because you get their player file.

Every Thursday Music Notes has a 99 cent deal.

What the hell is this?

It's a thread in the Coffee House about a site where you can download sheet music.

Hi,

Wish I had learned how to read the notes and translate them automatically into ... whatever ... instead, I close my eyes, and match/mix what I hear ... and even a teacher said that I had a really good ear for music, and should study it more ... I kinda like my free form ... it has a child feel to it that is neat and cool ... although hardly useful within a professional environment, but the learning, about listening and such, was something that I "translated" and used in the acting world with many folks ... it's a parallel that I think is in all arts in some form or another.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

The guy asking what the hell is the guy with the gold link in the other thread.  I made a comment about it but now I don't see it.  Whatever.  Sure looks like typical spammer behavior to me.

I held off being rude to him. Which is hard to do with someone with 3 posts and seemed like had no sense of civility and probably literacy.
