Uninstall Question

Hi all, I originally had Sonar Professional, then upgraded to Platinum, keeping both installations on my computer.  A couple of days ago I decided to uninstall Professional since I no longer use it.  After uninstalling Professional, when I started Platinum, I got no Start Screen.  Couldn't even open it manually from the File menu, clicked "Start Screen", nothing happened.  So I reinstalled Professional, now all is right when I start Platinum.  Was just curious what was going on here, if anyone else had experienced this, and if there was maybe something else that may be disabled in Platinum when Professional is uninstalled?

    You also run the risk of losing plugs that were only provided with previous versions.
    Installing versions over each other is not really heavy on hard-drive space.

    All versions of SONAR share components. After uninstalling Professional, roll back and reinstall Platinum.
