Anyone ever try Tracktion 6?

Sonar will always be my main daw, but I like to change things up from time to time so...
I was trying to help a guy find a host for EZD2, and remembered Tracktion 4 was free. I came away so impressed with it I got to reading up on the newer versions. Tracktion 7 should drop any day.
I found a guy selling Tracktion 5 for $8 on KVR, so I bought it and upgraded to Tracktion 6 for $31.25.
Now I will get T7 for free when it comes out.
As for T6, The thing just works. It has a pretty easy learning curve, and I like the one window concept. Editing and Melodyne are a lot easier to use in Sonar, but for tracking and just a change of pace. It's a pretty sweet little piece.
Anyhoo...any other fans of Tracktion out there?
 

Yes, I have used both versions 5 and 6, and was impressed. Version 7 will be out very soon. I haven't actually used it yet but I've seen it demonstrated and it represents another major advance on par with 4->5->6.
 
Since the original developer took back control of the product from Mackie in 2013, Tracktion development has been in an accelerated catch-up mode reminiscent of the early days of Reaper development. If you've been following Reaper since the early days, you'll remember it was once widely regarded as a toy. Nobody's laughing at Reaper anymore, mainly because its pace of development has been staggeringly rapid.
 
Tracktion is on a similar track, today lacking very few features that one would expect from a serious DAW. Yes, it has no console view, but that's by design. I guess it's been so long since I've used SONAR's console view that I forget it's even a significant DAW feature. Because I spend 99.9% of my time in the Track View, Tracktion's track-centric display makes perfect sense to me. 
 
As impressed as I am by Tracktion, I have to note that I have not switched to it as my DAW of choice (that's probably always going to be SONAR). But if I was just starting out today, it might be a different story.
