Metronome sound

I use 8.5 Producer, and X1 Producer, but I get no sound from my metronome. What do I have to do in order to hear the sound, (both playing, and recording)?

Hi, and welcome to this forum. Make sure Metronome is selected for playback and recording in the transport module.

I would also make sure that the Metronome is set to audio (this is how I do this) in Preferences (P), Project, Metronome. Route it to a bus of audio interface out. Hope it helps.

    All the best.

If the metronome audio files are missing from your user directories, hold the SHIFT key when starting SONAR. The user directories are stored by Cakewalk version in %appdata%\Cakewalk in Vista and above. I do not recall the layout in XP.

Yeah what scook said. I had the same problem and that's how I resolved it. Haven't had a problem since.
