Toggle Automation "On an Off"

I am wondering if there is a way to toggle automation on and off?

In CV, it would be nice if there was a "switch" to turn all your automation on a track off and on.  Kind of an a/b thing.  Gosh that would be nice.

Do you know what I mean?

I might be missing something here, so help me if you can.

Each track strip at least in track view has an [R][W] buttons clustered together that enable read and write of automation data. So click the [R] button to turn off and on the following of automation data or not.

The track's global R button doesn't work on synth automation though, something to be aware of. You have to use the R button on the synth's property page or the synth rack.

Thanks Bitman, I knew about that, but it is good to have a refresher.

Sharke, that was what I was looking for!  I didn't realize that.

    Thanks
