All is well, but... Still no changes to lane zooming issues

Yeah, I know.... Patience...

Since the changeover from layers to lanes... Was that back in X3? I don't remember as this has been an issue for so long...

Though it's been "fixed" relative to the Bakers' current design model, For some of us, it's still in need of changes to simply return some of what was lost in the changeover...

I don't see anyone else complaining lately and maybe being complacent....

I've been quiet about it for a long time myself in an attempt to be patient.... But I'm losing! ;-)

Please! Why can't I zoom a selected range of lane(s) to fill the screen? Can this really be so hard to implement? I hope not... My work has become more difficult to do in things where I need this!

Thanks!

I'll back you :-)  As long as we agree that their minimum height can be reduced too!

    Thanks!

    I want that too!

I have been posting this both here and in the feature requests since the creation of Lanes.... I'm sure many people are tired of hearing this from me!

Both limitations are a central issue for discomfort for me... I am constantly struggling with this... and I have a large screen (30") so I really believe many others with smaller screens are fighting with this too!

Out of curiosity, what do you guys need to make take lanes so high for ?  Is it for inline prv midi editing ?  Greater control over automation ?  I can stretch each lane to a bit more than 2" (5cm) high, which is more than I've had need for.
