Event View format

Normally while editing a file, when I want to edit a track's events I simply press Alt+4 and the event screen pops up, consuming most of the screen.  I like that.  I must have brushed across a hot key, because now the event view only appears near the bottom and isn't nearly as easy to work with.  What did I hit?!

    Hi, and welcome to this forum. Could it be that you have docked event view? Does Shift + D help?
