Any GoPro users here?

I'm thinking about getting a GoPro Hero4 Silver as a cheapish way to shoot some quality video for my website. I don't really know a lot about video cameras having only really used the one on my phone. Looking at some example footage from the camera online, it looks great when the motion is away from or toward the camera, but I just can't seem to get around the fact that when panned, the motion gets that horrible choppy look about it which frankly makes my eyes water. Is this just the reality of cheap digital video (my iPhone does the same thing) or is there anything you can do about it? I thought that maybe perhaps it was an artifact of the compression involved in uploading to video hosting sites?

We've been kicking the idea around but haven't bit yet.  TLMBF is quite a shutter bug.

That sub-$1K drone has me tempted ... but $1K buys a lot of bacon even at today's prices

It seems like the GoPro market is divided into

    1) Extreme snowboarders
    2) People who like to strap a camera to their dogs

So that includes people who like to strap a camera to their extreme snowboarding dogs, ya?

The little Zoom Q3 I have will have to do for now ...I would like to get one of those Go Pro's sometime down the road.
I'm afraid I may hit the same brick wall ...for indoors I will need much better lighting .
