When you start Social Security, they screw you out of one month's payment.
And again when you die. Because my wife died on the 26th of the month, I had to repay them the SS check she'd received earlier that month. But to be fair, they did give me a $250 death benefit that I only had to stand in line two hours for.
Damn ... Luis Bunuel would have loved that one!
