Roland UA mobile first contact

Hi friends ...

Few years ago i bought a UA 1g witch was for my cours classes ... It was lite , seriuous drivers and more than sufficient features ... After 6 years of good and loyal service ... It start to physically be in danger (cause my bags , no serious handling ...i must confess)

So i decided ti give the roland UA mobile ... A try ...

Why :

I needed a small sized , reliable , high quality drivers and better built quality ( metal ) than other small interfaces

So :

158 g with the cable
Build quality : think of a small hhd case , metal , top quality
Driver : the great surprise , really i just expected the same kinda drivers as the roland line but 32 samples via usb is rare and **** stable !!
Price : regular price is to high ...i got it at 190 euros ... Still not cheap but ...we get what we pay for
Metering : when you increase or decrease the volume ...the meter switches automatically to show the boost level ect
Then it goes back to show your out of daw level ( good)

My only grip is the volume handling : 2 button to increa or decrease .... I would have prefered a knob or some like on the ua1g because i play a lot with the volmue during work to change perspective on the work ... Clearly this the area that might be not be as rock solid in time ... And clearly the had the audiophiles in mind , cause any daw worker will have suggested a better monitoring management .

Under than that , really happy with this ...
