Copy and Paste Audio?

Hi all,
I'm looking to copy and paste a section of audio tracks to duplicate a chorus.  This sounds like it should be fairly straightforward, but I'm having a few issues - what's the easiest way you guys have done this before?
Thanks
Russ

If you're talking about moving large blocks and multiple tracks of audio, try the tip for week 76 in the Friday's Tip of the Week thread.

    Mark the clips:
Pressing "Strg", then drag and drop.
Pressing "Strg" + "Shift"  , then drag and drop will copy without moving the clips in the timeline.

Ah.. Craig - thanks again, just took a quick look at your Tip 76 - provided I can simply copy / paste the clips instead of moving them once they're selected, this appears to be what I'm looking for.  Thanks!

Auf Deutsch, "Strg" is the Ctrl key... German keyboard layout is different.

Yes, you certainly can. I should probably edit the tip to include that information.

"Strg" is the lowest left key - sorry I live in germany.
    Maybe its the Ctrl-key.

    Thanks Thambrecht.

One other question guys - if I'm going to copy and paste a section somewhere - do I need to manually split existing clips and insert blank space for the section to be pasted, or will the "slide over to make space" (or whatever the option is in paste special) handle that?
