“Now that I found you”   Leobert

 
This song dates from a period I began to play the bass guitar in the early seventies. RDL McAllen, the band I played in, made it to a wonderful many-voiced song. I, with my limited singing capacities, now just felt the need to give it a more personal touch. Changed the lyrics and added some melody. I don’t know why, it just happened in the creative process.
 
So this song is about the longing for love, which gradually turns into a fantasized misty dream taking away the touch with reality, which leaves the question if it’s all true. The doubt turns in a demand for a proof of love and seems to hint to a dark ending. So the bearing nice violins wear a nasty threatening edge of melody and the sax is giving away the more and more unbalanced mood.
