MMorph experience?

I've been getting some of the recent plugins from Melda - MCharacter and MTransformer - because I'm really interested in sound transformation and these effects promise huge things in their descriptions. MTransformer has been very fun - a very usable effect for me.

MMorph looks really intriguing, and even though it's on 'Sale' at an introductory $84 I'm curious if anyone's used this and if so what your experience has been like. The demos are really intriguing.

Or, if no one's used it that's okay, but how about this: am I right in interpreting this as kind of a modernized and controller-happy version of a vocoder?

I've used it a bit. It works really well and it does what it says. There are some really cool things you can do with it, but of course it's not magic. Luckily it has lots of controls that let you adjust things to get the sound you want. It has a 15 day demo, so try it for yourself and see if you like it.

So Chandler, it's like a kind of vocoder with a 'wet' or a 'mix' where you can use whatever you want as the 2 instruments?

With each new addition, the MCreativeBundle keeps looking better and better.  If you are patient, it will almost certainly go on sale sometime in the next year for $225 (50% off).  You may need to wait until Black Friday, but probably there will be something before then.  At that price, it's really an exceptional value given that you're paying less than 10 bucks per plugin, many of which are quite flexible and powerful.  I don't work for Melda - I'm just a big fan.

Yes. I don't know if the tech is the exact same, but it's very similar.
