Voice over tracks move when I change tempo

Hey Guys...I have 2 audio tracks with a voice over on both tracks. I'm writing music to match up with the voice over tracks, and have to change tempo. When I do, the two tracks of VO will overlap and speak at the same time, in other words move along with the tempo change. I've tried on data and position, but doesn't help
Any ideas?  Thanks...Danny

Are you changing tempo for the entire track?

I'm not entirely sure if this will work, but select the clip, then in the clips dropdown in the Inspector, change the time Format from M:B:T to H:M:S:F  before changing tempo

Yes, change Timebase from Musical to Absolute to preserve absolute start times.
