Are Intruments from missing vsts findable?

OK I know this is a tough one. 12 years ago I did some orchestrations using an older version of Garritan Personal Orchestra. Years later (now) I'm on a different configuration and can access those instruments through Kontakt. When I load the old project, it shows the missing vsts. They are greyed out in the synth rack. I need to rebuild these projects. I have thousands of samples and I can't remember what goes where. Does Sonar plt have a file that remembers the names of the instruments that were loaded in the old vsts? It would save me a TON of time.

This assignments are all stored in the projectfile (.cwp)
You can open this file with the notepad and read all the names of any instruments from any vst-instruments and integrated wav-files.
But it is nearly impossible to see which track goes to which instrument.
Possibly with good luck, patience and a HEX-Editor.
