No more fitting a tribute that this remarkable performance of Tarkus by a brilliant young woman virtuoso who happens to be blind. If you have not seen this, you owe it to yourself to watch. If you already have seen it, then you know what I'm talking about:

I also like some of the stuff she did with Zappa Plays Zappa ... and specially that version of "Montana". But yeah ... that solo version of Keith's piece is excellent ... and nice to see someone doing that so well, in what would normally be difficult because of the different sounds, although as one can see the note playing would normally be on par with many classical composers.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
