Triggering Session Drummer with Virtual Controller
I'm trying to set-up keyboard triggers to activate session drummer pads Is there anyway to use keyboard keys other the predefined in the Virtual Controller or will I need another Keyboard to MIDI controller software. Also if I do need an alternative software are there any suggestions or links Thanks
I have empirical evidence this is true... (Bender told me!) I think what your looking for is drum maps. You can define what midi note triggers what.

Thanks kzmaier... But drum maps will not let you set a note out from triggering a qwerty keyboard. To explain with a little more detail. In my quest to live loop, I'm Attempting to set up a wireless qwerty keyboard mounted on my guitar. Possibly this one… http://www.androidheadlines.com/2015/01/waytools-innovative-smart-new-foldable-textblade-keyboard.html My aim is to control - Guitar Rig5 Program changes MIDI Channel 03.
- Addicted drums Notes on/off MIDI Channel 10.
- Some commands to remote control individual mute and solo buttons within sonar.
Since my 1st post I've give up on the inbuilt sonar Virtual Controller and have been goggling alternatives but no joy thus far. Unless I want to reinstall XP hahahaha joking! So if anyone know of a good up-to-date Virtual Controller, then I would much appreciate a link or three

FWIW I've used one of the Korg nanocontrollers on velcroed to my guitar strap for what you want to do. It was cumbersome since it required a long USB cable but it worked.
Microsoft Surface Book w/ Surface dock, dual 24-inch HD displays, Sonar Platinum, THD 4, GuitarRig, Amplitube, (Kontakt4), Garritan PO, Trillian Bass 1.3, Roland Octa-Capture, Waves Gold & various Waves, PSP and T-Racks plugins.KRK Rokit6, Lefty Guitars & Bass, racks/pedals galore and many other fun things.

Thanks Sijel, Yeah just as I thought the long USB cable put me off and the Korg nano controllers are quite flimsy at best
Thanks azslow, I've looked at the acpad, €269 ok but it's not released till June and I'm wondering what the bugs will be? Not a fan of buying the first release of a new product. As for the Korg alt, My current solution is to use a Edirol PCR300, and a Alesis ControlPad placed on a double keyboard stand. So not really a solution as my aim is to slim down my rig. But thanks to you both for your input, I think I’ll keep looking for a suitable qwerty keyboard that will access qwerty. If not available I'll write one and release it freeware.
