Changing font size

Is it possible to change the font size? I haven't seen it in the options but I didn't try very hard. Fonts are too tiny on modern resolutions.

Off hand, I know one can change the Now Time to a larger display size using "Big Time View", and when printing a score from staff view, the lyrics font can be altered. Nothing else that I know of.

I don't know if there are any Windows setting (resolution?) on your computer that might affect this. Also, I am pretty sure there are Windows-compatible apps out there that can "magnify" a window.

Not sure what OS you are using but I think my FONT sizes follow the FONT sizes set in WINDOWs.  You know, LARGE - LARGER - LARGEST.  I get to my settings via my DISPLAY options in WINDOWS.

I don't think you can change font size without magnifying the whole screen content.
I'm somewhat upset with the direction the displays have taken regarding resolution and readability. With the resolutions they use as default the screen has to be 24 inches to be usable. If you change the resolution in Windows settings the image gets blurred. I need to use Ctrl +/- very often with high resolution displays.
My SONAR machine is so old I'm still fine with it, but for example my new job laptop is a joke. There's no way I could ever work full days with it without an additional 24" display.

They should redesign most of the GUIs and web pages the same way they should have redesigned CD-covers
when moving from vinyl-format to that smaller one.

    Kalle,

The setting I am referring to is NOT resolution rather FONT size for the WINDOWS sessions.  You can make the text of windows screens larger or smaller and keep the resolution the same. So, everything stays nice and sharp but the font gets bigger.

To change the entire system font size in Windows:
    - Right click the desktop
      Click "Personalize"
      Click "Display"
      Chose 100%, 125% or 150% or
Click "Set custom text size (DPI)

    To change specific fonts:
    - Right click the desktop
      Click "Personalize"
Click "Window Color" at the bottom
Click "Advanced appearance settings..." This opens the old XP style settings window.

I too think they're too small too but when I  set the next size resolution in Windows it made everything way to big. Took up too much of the real estate in Sonar, so I changed it back and put my reading glasses on. LOL

Fully agree about the complaints.  And when you use 125% or 150% in windows, then some display bugs are introduced --- track names go blank in PRV when too long for the available display space, instead of being truncated.

I would love it if I could increase the size of the time ruler's units of measurement.

I figured it out!! With Sonar running, go to task manager-details and right-click on Sonarpdr.exe...Go to Properties-Compatibility. At the bottom you will see settings..There will be a check mark next to over ride HIgh dpi...Right under that is a selection panel with "Application or System or System enhanced"...I use System enhanced with 4k hrd 120hz Big screen and I can SEE it now...lol   Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays..Cheers
