Any country singers need a song?

My first thought is that's a cool tune, but it's borderline country at best. Do you listen to country music? Kinda curious.... that's all.   But then again, what's country in Nashville these days?   I could hear a few select "new country" artists (very few) doing this kind of song because yeah, country just ain't what it used to be........ but .....
 
The starting at 1:34... not country.Nope...I don't think I've heard that kind of materiel in a country song.  But all isn't lost.....
 
IMHO.....I'll tell you what...  That chorus is really good. It has a great pop vibe going on.  I'd seriously have a look at writing  some verses equally captivating, to compliment the chorus. THAT would make this a really GREAT song. Keep the chorus, and rewrite the verses, leave out the alternate (strange) stuff and see what you got.
 
Of course, this is just one person's opinion.

BTW Hacker, I listened to the stuff on you webpage.  It's pretty exceptional.  If you ever want to collaborate let me know.  I'm lousy with words, but great at the music side.
