IK Multimedia has updated the Lurssen Mastering Console version 1.0.1. Changes from version 1.0: - Added WRITE and TOUCH automation modes.
- Added resizable GUI.
- Added Drag & Drop file import mode.
- General reliability improvements.
The update is available in the IK User Area under My Products.

Glad they added the resizable gui. Iv' seen a few things with that in the first update recently. Hopefully we are closer to that being "a before 1st update" thing.

It seems like it's pretty good but I don't think it would be in the same category as Ozone. Less knobs is attractive to me too, though. There are a lot of things above "learn mastering" on my list of things to do. It does seem a bit strange to me IK has all those T-Racks plugs and they come out with a mastering thing that has nothing to do with them. I will prob pick this up in the next few months.

Cool. Does the iPad version come with the BMW as in the video? All joking aside, I love that feature. However, it seems to me you can buy any EQ for the iPad, bring it into your car and notate your EQ moves. Go back to your DAW and recreate those moves. I think the DAW and iPad version of Lurrsen are two different purchases. Correct? Might be to pricey for me.

One of the cool things Daniel Lanois did at Grant Ave studios was to install a low powered radio transmitter in the building. You could then go to the car and listen to the mix as broadcast, while you made notes. This was 30+ years ago.

I did buy it.
There are times when this will be the ticket, times when Slate's FG_X will be the ticket and times when Ozone 7 Advanced will be the ticket. At least for me that is.
I put Lurssen and FG-X loosley in the same "category". Not very surgical (think limited tweakablity) but if I can get the results I want for the song at hand, I simply use one or the other. If those fail, it's on to Ozone which has now replaced my UAD and T-Racks mastering tools for the surgical stuff.

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I just picked this up, well for nothing really, with IK's 2 for 1 deal. Got an iLoud at nearly half price, and then the Lurssens console for zilch. Shame about the iLoud. It's on it's way back. Doesn't run off the battery, one of the, ahh, more important features. But I digress. I hooked this console up at the end of a chain which still includes most of my favourite tools including t-racks gear, and, it's pretty darn good. The eq is awesome. It still needs more features and more control IMO, to make it more valuable, but out of the box, it surprised me big time. Just hope they keep up with the suggestions and updates. Don't discount this gem. If you can get it at the right price, on the day with the right project, it could be just what your looking for. Think I will use this a lot. 
Platinum. i7 4771 3.5ghz. ECU H87 mobo with 3 monitor support. 16gb Ripjaws 1600mhz. Focusrite 18i20. 2 x 250gb Samsung EVO SSD's OP/Programs. 2x1TB Seagate Baracuda sata3 data drives. 200gb sata2 bootable drive for online and downloading only. Seagate 2tb USB 3.0 backup drive. 2x27in monitors. Rode K2 valve mic. Sontronics STC-1 pair. Studio Projects B1 condenser. SM58B. SM57B. Presonus Eureka Preamp.

If you are returning the iLoud, then you'll be losing the Lurssen... as they will take that back also. It was given as part of the BOGO, which you returned, and therefore, will forfeit, unless you buy something else that will give it to you for free...
