Time Travel - Sonar Home Studio 6

Getting Sonar Home Studio 6 reactivated on a much older computer system to see how well it does with VST. Getting plug-in manager to update all the VST plug ins, but I'm not familiar with the MFX or Midi FX. Really want to have this work as I have a lot of very expensive VST instruments and FX, but I'm schooled in a couple of other DAWs that make this a little more complicated. What do I do?

I'm still using SHS 6 XL on an 11 year old XP computer.
Sometimes a free VST won't work (for unknown reasons) but all the included plug-ins work, as well as some I bought.
Note the destination location when installing if it doesn't allow you to select the destination.
Add that location to the Plug-In Manager under Add Plug-In, then run the VST scanner.
If they are "very expensive VST instruments and FX", they should work. You would think.
It sure doesn't hurt anything to try.
Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Was SHS 64-bit?  I think it was only 32, in which case newer 64-bit VST/VSTi's won't work.

    It's both 32 and 64.
