Tim C

Hi, I just started using Sonar and I am new to recording. My first attempt I tried to record a guitar track and then a vocal on the second track. I recorded my guitar track fine, when I play it back I hear it fine through my headphones. The problem is when I want to record the vocals on the 2nd track I do not hear the guitar on the 1st track.  I'm sure my inputs and output setups are fine.  I highlighted the S on the guitar track so I can hear it when I record the vocal, but as I said, can't hear it. I s there something in my preferences that is not set up properly. Hopefully some one can help me.   Tim

1st - Do not solo guitar track (that's the S) - that means you only want to hear the guitar track.
Rest really depends on your setup as far as what you hear. Need to post your set up -

Even though you're sure your inputs and outputs setup is fine, can you post the details?
