Pickatto - A Bluetooth enabled guitar pick

Well, this is certainly different. I received this ad on Facebook:

http://www.pickatto.com/

I guess I would question whether this picking info would actually improve one's playing.

Broken pencils are pointless.

    Hi,

Hmmm ... next it will be electronic fingers!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Gauging one's guitar progress by the number of plucks or strums performed....yeah that's going to really develop a sense of musicality.

Seems very gimmicky, just the kind of thing that new guitar players will be sucked into buying and then end up in the closet within a couple of weeks when they realize it's not doing much for them.

Kind of reminds me of that "Chord Buddy" gizmo that was on Shark Tank a few years ago (and apparently became a smash hit). Although at least I could sort of see the benefit of that....

I'd lose it within a week. Murphy's Law.
I have 4 or 5 V-Picks. I've lost one. I keep an eye on them!
Just get the iRig Acoustic, it looks like a pick and does more!
