RIP Gary Shandling

What a shocker....

Larry Sanders was one of the best shows of the 90's if not the best, and he was a fine standup too.

66 is way too young....

    Hard to believe he was outlived by Hank Kingsley....
     
    Incidentally I've been watching Jeffrey Tambor in the Amazon show Transparent in which he plays an aging tranny who comes out to his family, it's worth a watch. What an actor that guy is.

    BTW, if you haven't discovered Seinfeld's web show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, it's worth a look. Ironically, the Shandling episode was titled "It's Great That Garry Shandling is Still Alive".

    I haven't seen the Garry Shandling one, will give it a watch later. My two favorites are the Larry David one (David and Seinfeld have a chemistry, naturally) and the Louis CK one (his story about getting stuck on the boat with his kids is great).
