Problems with SCISSORS TOOL

I am currently experiencing some problems with SONAR PLATINUM, especially with the tool "SCISSORS" at times does not work, can not be applied cuts, and do not know what the reason ... I combine clips or ultimately create a new track and copy the tracks that are useless.

I think a problem occurs with HIDEN envelopes or automation lanes. This did not happen in SONAR X3.

Gracias por su respuesta, si alguien me puede ayudar.

If you're trying to split Region FX clips like Melodyne or Vocalsync, it's not possible without bouncing to clip first.

Thank for the reply, but...no i´m not. I know it´s not possible split a region fx (i discovered that thing sice SONAR x3 and Melodyne region). I´ll hope that my question is good understanding, i don´t speak english so well, i´m from Perú...

...my problem is that sometimes i try to "CUT" a track and sometimes it doesn´t work.

When you say "hidden", do you mean the automation lanes are closed?

If I close the automation lanes, and then click on a clip, the automation lanes are then visible together with the audio.
I can then use the scissors and put useless parts in another track. The useless part keeps its automation, and where it was in the useful track is now a straight, dotted line.

Or do you mean "hidden" in another way?

If the Take Lanes are visible, you can use Scissors only on the individual takes, not the "parent" track. You have to hide the Take Lanes to use the Scissors on the parent track. Maybe this is the problem?

Also, there is a fix in the upcoming update that relates to splitting and DSP functions.

Yeah. I know...with envelopes or lanes "unhidden" is not posible to "CUT" a track...i try to writte correctly, i speak spanish (yo hablo español y el inglés no es mi idioma nativo)

It seems that I am the only one with this problem. I´ve been working with SONAR for almost 7 or 8 years and never had the need to enter a forum for help with a problem.

Thanks for yours comments and your time.

Lo siento mucho...es probable que sea algo simple que accidentalmente no está configurado correctamente. Espero que encuentre una solución!

I'm not saying this is what you're experiencing, but anyway...
A few minutes ago I had two (logical) misunderstandings with scissor tools.

    1) I bounced clips/ layers to clip > I could not use scissors on the combined clip before I had saved first.
    2) I could not clip where I wanted because my Snap to-setting did not allow it.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
