I like Blackmore's Night (and the "Night" portion is rather easy on the eyes too!).
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Hi, It's nice to see this once in a while, but somehow, I find that many of these is simply another chance to catch a few more dollars, out of it all. Best of luck to them, but that was never my type of music, and they have a right to play it and get audiences all excited about the loudness.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I doubt that is the case with Blackmore. It's not his style, then again maybe so. They are filming. I don't think there is anything wrong with making a little more money, do you? J

When it comes to art Pedro thinks money is a sign of a sellout or it is not art he cares about (because it makes money).

Incorrect. gosh, that would be like punishing my sister in Paris and 40 some years of being an artist and doing shows all over Europe, and selling her works. I don't know ... I think that I have that idea that some folks have had their 15 minutes, and they want more ... I'm actually OK with that, but I do not think that it defines art by any stretch of the imagination. It's like asking Picasso to paint the blue or the rose period again, at the show, and you know he is going to give you a finger and leave the room! I (sometimes) do not feel that these people have evolved musically, but yeah ... that is what I feel, and I agree that it may not be the truth.

That's pretty doubtful since he's been dead for over 40 years...

Yeah...me too..... Where's it written that you only get 15 minutes (of fame)? If someone wants to do a comeback at any age.... more power to them. And if they do it successfully, that simply shows that they still have the ability to deliver what the people are looking for. And perhaps, they're doing it because they love what they do and still want to, and can get out there at 70 and do it. Many of the bands still touring are so much better than they were in their so called "hay-day".... now that they are sober and more experienced.

Andy Warhol said everyone in the world will be famous for 15 minutes. He was a bit of a ****, to be honest.
