Ozone to actually master a commercial album?

Anyone know of a commercial album mastered only with Ozone?  I asked the Isotope folks and they didn't have an example.  I'm considering upgrading from Ozone 4 to Ozone 7 advanced and am looking for a good reason to do it.

Thx,

If you have the skills, I'm certain using Ozone would not be an obstacle to creating a commercially viable master.

Commercial is not defined well enough to give an answer. I do know that CDs for sale have been mastered using Ozone.

Greg Calbi uses Ozone, according to iZotope. So does Skrillex and Joey Sturgis, for whatever that's worth. I'm sure more mastering engineers use it than admit to it.

I suspect your real question is: is Ozone good enough for commercial mastering? The answer is "Yes". However, software isn't going to be the deciding factor, as it's far less crucial than the ME's experience and monitoring environment. Mastering facilities spend more on acoustic treatment and speakers than you did on your house.

Of course, that's sidestepping the issue of whether digital mastering is equal to analog mastering. I happen to think it is, but it's open to debate.

I've seen a carpenter take a nail and drive it home with one blow.  I've also seen someone banging away with the same hammer and the nail all bending about and going in sideways.

I am "Five Foot Wall" on Spotify, Deezer, etc.  Platinum, Windows 7 64bit, AMD FX-6100 hex-core @3.8ghz, 8 gig ram (never use more than 5 gigs), Delta 44, UM-2

I agree wholeheartedly with all the comments so far...
Ozone is a fantastic tool, advanced lets you add your own favorite tools and use modules separately.
I think the OP really isn't asking a worthwhile question... u can create garbage with ozone or amazing stuff...
It's an awesome sword... whether u have a clue/ear to wield it determines the results.

It IS probably the MOST widely used mastering tool in use today...

Darrell Thorp recently took home his seventh GRAMMY Award for his engineering work on Beck's Morning Phase, which was named Album of the Year.
To create shimmering masters, Thorp turns to Ozone to get the job done: "Ozone puts some shimmer, punch, and tone in your mixes. It's a stereo mastering arsenal of sonic tools and tricks in one plug-in."

Then there was the guy nailing up siding, examining each nail and tossing every other one over his shoulder.

Boss asks "why are you throwing away half the nails?" Reply: "They're defective. The point's on the wrong end."

Boss: "You idiot. You don't throw those away, you save them for the other side of the house!"

A quote somebody made was so good I saved it. Goes like this:
"Today's production equipment is IT-based and cannot be operated without a passing knowledge of computing, although it seems that it can be operated without a passing knowledge of audio."

IOW, it's not only about understanding your tools, but also the materials.
