Help! Sonar X3

Hey guys! kinda new around here. I'm having some trouble with my Sonar X3 regarding even list editing. In my old sonar (sonar 7), to edit a midi note/event, i'll just have to place the box in the note/event that i want to edit, type the new value, then press Enter. Whereas my sonar X3. I cant do that. I have to place the box in the note/event that i want to edit, then i have to press Enter,  type the new value, then press Enter again. Kinda bugs me out.

Please help me out here.

Thanks in advance.

Just double-click the event, use the arrows or type in the change, hit enter or Tab.

I know what you mean. On the other hand, it sure beats having to hit F2 to edit. (A legacy edit key for various MS software.)
