Suddenly stuck in Demo mode... No internet...

First thing today... Was running fine yesterday I believe after applying the latest early release...

Opening the about box shows legal and paid until next year, but the Demo mode warning keeps popping up...

I have no internet in the studio today so CCC won't run... So I can't try a rollback...

What might I do? I'm supposed to be working today...

It does say to contact support, but that machine has no internet right now... Who/how to try?

I guess my first time calling (this year) for support will try the new system... <sigh>...

I had this happen to me last week exactly the same, but I did have internet and went to CCC and tried the rollback.
It failed and I had no sonar at all. Totally corrupted Sonar and said it wasn't installed properly.
Only thing that worked for me was to go to windows restore and restored to  the point before the early release
I have not reinstalled the early release and am back on Newbury

Mine was also related to Melodyne, but no reboots or shutdowns would fix it. Thus resorted to the restore point.
Melodyne shortcut on the desktop also had a broken link and I had to go into programs and drag a new shortcut to the desktop. That happened the next day again with melodyne.

I have a project that was fine until I copied and pasted an audio section with Melodyne.  Now when I exit that file i have to reboot to get Sonar to run again
 

Did you render the Melodyne clip before exiting? IIRC I have seen someone have had problems when opening SONAR with an active Melodyne clip. Maybe try to see if that is the case?

Though I have Melidyne 4 installed I don't use it. I can't afford the upgrade and the lite version is missing tools I need and have in v-vocal...

Has anyone bugged this up? I'm paid for the year and it was working fine after the build 71 update... Until the machine was turned off and then started again (just like a re-boot)

More re-boots didn't help though for a moment it came out of Demo mode then quickly returned...

Talked with support... Drove 30 minutes to get wifi and did an offline activation... Which didn't work... So then deleted some CCC files, restarted Sonar and it accepted the offline activation...

I'm working now but nervous about the next time the machine is turned off...

I'm gonna bug report it now if I can whike I have a moment of wifi...

how did you update to the early release before if you had no internet?

As usual... I occasionally have wifi there, but it is too far from the router so not often...
 
What I do is from another machine that has web access, I download the update manually from the My Products account, Then transfer the update to my DAW and run it...
 
On a good day I have enuf web access to use CCC and on a bad day I run it manually... the old way... :-)

You should know that since I applied the offline activation, it's running solid as a rock with build 71...
 
I just got disappointed about the new timeline adjusting that we can do via ARA... It seems thought although it will be handy to set the timeline to follow a song, It will not allow you to use Melodyne Essential to modify the timeline....
 
I guess for me that won't matter much as I really don't use Melodyne Essential as it's too tool limited compared with V-Vocal and my needs.... I'm grateful that still works!
