The Sky is Crying – Classic Blues

Please check out my video/audio recording of this Elmore James blues classic.
The video was recorded on two separate video cameras and the audio was recorded directly on to my Cakewalk Sonar Artist DAW and mixed with previously recorded tracks. The recordings were then synchronised using Serif Movie Plus video editor. The video audio was then deleted.
The guitar sound was processed using my Waves GTR plugin.
I hope you enjoy it.

The backing tracks are missing a little "punch" and don't necessarily have that "band" sound against your guitar or vocals, but I do like the raw/traditional blues feel you've gone for.

Blues! Fantastic choice of tune, one of my absolute favorites. That Squier tele sounds great and your playing is good (you have a pretty happening vibrato technique there) but like steve says, the backing track could have a stronger presence. Still, I'm listening on my crappy laptop and it all sounds pretty nice to me, and that usually means it will sound great on my good system.  Nice!

My latest tunes are at Reverbnation, please give a listen!
